Auto Tester (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an Intermediate Automation Tester as follows

• To design test plans / strategies and build automated testing into their delivery pipeline
• Work with devs and the QA Manager to plan and execute all stages of software testing
• Must have exp. in integration, reliability, performance and load testing on Front / Back End
• Draft Test Cases for manual testing, prior to automating certain Test Cases
• Automate using Selenium, Cucumber or similar automation frameworks
• Prepare Test Data using SQL extracts from various data sources (must have SQL exp.)
• Integrate automated test cases into the CI/CD pipeline on Azure and AWS (must have either)
• Verify test results against success criteria, using SQL scripts and API’s
• At least 4+ yrs overall Software QA exp. incl. 2-3 yrs in Automation(required)
• Cloud exp. in AWS or Azure, plus Java and JS dev is ideal (not required)
• ISTQB cert. is a strong advantage (not required)

This is a hybrid work contract, starting with 1-2 days at their offices in Gauteng
