BI Team Lead (CPT, contract)

A client in Cape Town is looking for a BI Team Lead as follows

• To lead a team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, BI Devs, DBA’s and Solution Arch’s
• Define overall approach and design patterns / standards for data management
• Plan the work involved on data projects and assign tasks (Hybrid Agile methodology)
• Provide guidance as an SME on a range of BI technologies and data management topics
• Must have 8-10+ yrs exp. in Data Management principles and practice
• Exp. in SQL DB’s, Big Data (Hadoop), ETL, DW, OLAP, Data Pipelines, Scripting (Python / Java)

This is a 6 – 12 month contract for work at their offices in Cape Town, on a Hybrid work basis (1 day in the office / week)
