Cloud Project Mng (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking a Mid to Senior Project Manager (Waterfall) as follows

Responsibilities:

• To manage their Cloud Migration Projects to AWS
• Manage resources (mostly in-house) incl. budgets, risks, timelines etc.
• Define the Scope of Work (SOW) for Vendors and manage their delivery
• Adhere to PMO Governance guidelines and requirements per project stage

Skills Required:

• 5 – 10 (or more) yrs exp. as a PM on Software Projects
• 2 – 3 yrs exp. on Cloud Migration Projects (preferably AWS exp)
• 2 – 3 yrs Agile (Scrum) Project Management exp. is ideal (not required)
• PPO Project Tool exp. is ideal (not required)
• FinTech projects exp.
• Change Management exp. is ideal (not required)
• Vendor Management exp. is ideal (not required)
• PMP certs are ideal (not required)

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 6 to 12 month full time work contract (renewable) starting ASAP
• Work is done on a hybrid work model (with 2-3 days / week at their offices in Jhb CBD)
• Any relocation / travel costs (T&A) is excluded from the contract
