Data Analyst (Remote Contract)

A client based across SA is seeking a Senior Data Analyst as follows

Responsibilities:

• To do Data Analysis work, incl. Data Modelling (ERD’s), maintain Data Dictionaries, assist with Data Cleansing
• Work with Data Engineers to build data pipelines using MS SQL
• Work with the Data Visualization team to write reports
• Work with Super Users to improve data quality at source with business logic

Skills Required:

• At least 4-5+ yrs exp. in Data Analysis
• Solid exp. in Data Modelling tools (ERWIN, PowerDesigner, etc.)
• Exp. with PowerBI / report writing is a big benefit (not required)
• Exp. with Cloud Data platforms (Azure Synapse / AWS Snowflake / AWS Redshift)
• Data Management using SQL / Python is required
• A degree in Comp. Science / Engineering is preferred

Work Arrangement:

• This is an initial 3 month full time contract starting ASAP
• On a remote work basis (any travel expenses is at client cost)
• Open to local SA citizens only
