SAP FICO Functional (JHB perm)

A client based in SA is seeking an Intermediate SAP FICO Functional on a permanent basis as follows:

Responsibilities:

• To analyze their Financial process requirements and implement / support SAP S/4 HANA accordingly
• Conduct workshops with process owners to document their requirements
• Do Gap analysis to identify gaps between standard SAP functionality and business requirements
• Design and configure SAP S/4 HANA for the gaps, incl. custom dev to be built in ABAP
• Own QA for the deliverables, incl. Unit, Integration and UAT Test Cases (with Test Data)
• Draft Training Materials and ensure Change Management is done on projects

Skills Required:

• 4-5+ yrs exp. in SAP FICO implementations & support
• Preferably with Non-SAP Accounting exp., with a B. Com Finance degree (not required)
• Preferably with SAP exp. in a Retail environment
• SAP FICO Integration exp. (HCM and other modules) is required
• Agile certs, ITIL / COBIT certs, TOGAF certs are all beneficial
• SAP certs are a bonus, esp. S4 HANA certs (not required)

Work Arrangement:

• This is a permanent position (starting in Oct / Nov. 2025)
• On a hybrid work basis (2-3 days / week in the office in JHB)
• Remote work will be considered (if at a Snr level and not in JHB and able to work independently)
• Any Travel & Accom costs to their offices in Sandton is excl. (at your own cost)
• Must be born in SA (no foreigners, unless you have a Permanent Residency)
