Integration Architect (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an EDI Integration Architect as follows

• Automate Supply Chain Logistics with process integration at logical level using EDI
• Analyse SCM / OEM processes and map to EDI messages (i.e. VDA / EDIFACT standards)
• Hands-on exp. in Kanban, JIT, JIS and related Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) processes
• Solid understanding of the relationship between Orders placed and goods movement in Logistics
• Integrate with Master Data Management systems (i.e. Product / Item Master and Supplier Master)
• Design and config integration platform (i.e. Axway Trade Sync Integration Mng.)
• Handover to Back End Devs to build solution integration and complete testing
• 6+ yrs exp. in EDI Integration is required, mostly in a Manufacturing / Logistics environment
• Understanding of Web Services and Streaming (i.e. using SOAP / REST API’s) and Linux servers

This is a long term contract with hybrid work methods, requiring 2-3 days / week on-site in Gauteng
