IoT Dev (perm, Cpt)

A client in Cape Town is seeking an Intermediate to Senior IoT Developer as follows

• To help design and build a next gen Industrial IoT platform, managing smart devices in the field
• Review and improve their infrastructure (Linux / Rasp Pi) and data storage (MongoDB / Meteor)
• Build client facing products using Java, Python, ReactJS, .Net (with exp. in some of these, not all)
• Big Data analytics exp. using Machine Learning (ML) on AWS is an advantage (but not essential)
• Data Integration exp. between the IoT platform and ancillary systems (like Odoo ERP) is a plus
• Cybersecurity exp. specifically for data and integration to IoT platforms is required
• Must have 5+ yrs exp. in overall Software Dev (with at least 3+ yrs in IoT platforms)
• Must have Agile and DevOps methodology exp. in understanding the SDLC
• An Engineering degree is a big plus (i.e. Elec / Mech / Chem.)

This is a permanent position with a hybrid work model, 3 days on site in N. Subs of Cape Town
