Mid-Snr SQL DBA (JHB, perm)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an Intermediate to Senior DBA on a permanent basis as follows

• To Manage several MS SQL Server instances, plus a MySQL instance (on prem and Azure)
• Manage DB security and maintain latest SP updates / patches
• Automate DB backup / restore / replication functions
• Create SQL Procs for data integrity and validation etc.
• Optimize long running DB queries
• Implement ETL data extraction with SSIS
• Assist with implementing a Data Warehouse and use SSRS for report writing
• Any relevant MS cert’s and an IT degree will be advantageous

This is a permanent hybrid role with BEE preference, but others will be considered

Office visits are required once a month (Illovo) and there is minimal after hrs work
