PM / BA (Dbn, contract)

A client in Durban is seeking an Intermediate Project Mng / Bus Analyst on contract as follows

• To initiate and manage several software projects
  • Enterprise Architecture (EA)
  • Website upgrade
  • Data Warehouse (DW)
  • Quality Mng System (QMS)
  • Learning Mng System (LMS)
  • Several smaller Business As Usual (BAU) projects
• Manage project resources, vendors, other stakeholders, budgets, risks etc. for the above
• Bus Analysis / Prod Owner skills will be useful for scoping requirements (but not essential)
• Some experience in the above types of software projects will be useful (but not required)
• Projects are managed using Agile methods with Sprints (except the DW project, which is waterfall)
• Vendor Management exp. is required, as these are all outsourced (except the internal BAU ones)
• 5+ yrs exp. in managing software projects is required (in total across Agile / Waterfall methods)
• Certification as a Scrum Master / Project Manager and / or Prod Owner / Bus Analyst is ideal
• Ideally with Education sector exp. (but not required)

This is a 12 month contract, on either part / full time basis, on a hybrid work model (3 days / week in their Durban offices)
