A client based in SA is seeking a Snr SAP Data Engineer as follows
Responsibilities:
- To design and build data pipelines from SAP to Azure Cloud
- Build Data Models on S/4 HANA in CDS, then extract it using Data Frameworks on SAP
- Build data pipelines to their Data Lake using MS Fabric on Azure
- Assist Architects with implementing data standards
- Work with Data Analysts for Reporting requirements
Skills Required:
- At least 10+ yrs exp. in Data Engineering
- Incl. SAP DataSphere and S/4 HANA
- Exp. in MS Fabric, PowerBI, MS SQL
- Exp. in SAP Data Frameworks like ODP, SLT, BW
- Exp. using custom ABAP code and CDS views for extraction
- Strong on Data Quality and Data Security
Work Arrangement:
- This is an initial 6 month full time contract starting ASAP
- On a remote work basis (travel expenses are at client cost)
- Open to local SA citizens only (no foreigners)
