SAP PP PM Architect (Remote contract)

A client based in SA is seeking a SAP Solution Architect in Production / Plant Maint as follows

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA / Design forums with their Production process implementation on S/4 HANA
• Work closely with Functional / Change Management teams, guiding prototype workshops and change practices
• Review and approve all Solution Design and Testing specs (Functional, Technical, UAT Test Cases)
• Ensure that SAP is developed, configured and implemented according to the Activate methodology
• Responsible for all Data Migration, Integration / UAT, Training and Cutover and Business Continuity activities
• Liaise with Vendors and ensure their deliverables align with the SAP implementation

Skills required:

• 8 – 10+ yrs exp. in SAP PP implementations (with SAP PM / QM as secondary modules)
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Production processes in a FMCG environment is ideal
• Several full cycle SAP PP implementations (with some PM / QM) is required (preferably on S/4 HANA)
• Exp. releasing solutions using SAP SolMan (Solutions Manager) is required
• Exp. with SAP Access Control and GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) is required
• SAP Consulting background is required (not a permanent employee)
• Ideally with an Engineering or B.Com. degree and SAP certifications

Work arrangement:

• This is a full time 6 month remote work contract (renewable)
• Travel may be required occasionally (on-site work within SA)
• Any Travel and Accom (T&A) is included (at client cost)
• Applicants must be based in South Africa, with a valid SA ID or Work Visa
