Snr SAP PM Functional (JHB Contract)

A client based in SA is seeking a Senior SAP Plant Maintenance Functional Consultant as follows

Responsibilities:

• Lead their Design forums with their Plant implementation on S/4 HANA
• Work closely with Change Management teams, guiding prototype workshops
• Review and approve all Solution Design and Testing (Functional, Technical, UAT)
• Ensure that SAP is developed, configured and implemented according to the Activate methodology
• Liaise with Vendors and ensure their deliverables align with the SAP implementation

Skills required:

• At least 8 – 10+ yrs exp. in SAP PM implementations
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Enterprise Asset Mng (EAM)
• Several full cycle SAP PM implementations (incl. some on SAP S/4 HANA)
• Exp. releasing solutions using SAP SolMan (Solutions Manager) is required
• Exp. with SAP Access Control (SAC) and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• SAP Consulting background is required (rather than a permanent employee)
• Ideally with an Engineering or B.Com. degree and SAP certifications

Work arrangement:

• This is a full time 9 month on-site work contract (Feb – Nov 2026)
• Based at their Head Office in Illovo, Gauteng
• Applicants must be based in South Africa, with a valid SA ID or Work Visa
