Sys Eng. (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking a Snr Systems Engineer as follows

• To manage and support a complex network / server / application stack
• Troubleshoot server and network and app issues across all OSI layers
• Manage vendors that implement network infrastructure (mainly Cisco)
• Manage Web / DB servers with shell scripts and automation (Ansible)
• Manage security, routing / switching and firewalls for all infrastructure
• Analyze traffic with TCP Dumps and implement optimal config for traffic
• Knowledge of managing Cloud infrastructure (AWS /Azure)
• Must have 8 to 10+ yrs exp. in Systems Eng. (most of the above)
• An IT degree / diploma as well as F5 or similar Sys Eng. certs is required

This is a hybrid work contract at their offices, with occasional travel required
