Auto Tester (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an Intermediate Automation Tester as follows

• Work with Devs and the QA Manager to plan and execute all the QA steps
• Must have manual and automation testing experience in unit, integration and load testing
• Automate using Selenium / Cucumber automation frameworks with Java on AWS
• Prepare Test Data using SQL extracts for different Test Cases
• Integrate Auto Test Cases into the CI/CD pipeline with Git / GitHub and Nexus Repo on AWS
• Verify test results against success criteria, using SQL scripts and REST API’s

Skills Required:

• At least 5 to 6 yrs overall Software QA exp. with 2 to 3 yrs in Automation Testing
• Automate the QA function using Java (J2EE and Spring Boot) with Angular on SQL DB
• Exp. with Selenium, Cucumber, Nexus Repo automation frameworks
• Exp. using Agile / DevOps methods with JIRA / Confluence
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines with Git/GitHub on AWS (or Azure DevOps)
• ISTQB cert. is a strong advantage (not required)

This is a long term contract (12- 18 months) on a hybrid work method (few days / week at their offices in Gauteng)
