Azure Cloud Architect (Remote contract)

A client based in SA is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect as follows:

• To lead their implementation of Azure Cloud and related apps (incl. SD-WAN cloud migration)
• Understand the overall business processes and drive their cloud adoption initiatives
• Manage Vendors and QA the Azure Cloud rollout along with supporting apps on Azure
• Mentor Solution Architects in various related streams to design cloud solutions
• SME in the overall Cloud and Network Design

Skills Required:

• Architect level exp. in Azure Cloud / SD-WAN Network solutions
• Overall 10+ yrs exp. in Networks / Infrastructure Engineering (ideally from a Systems Eng. background)
• 10+ yrs exp. in Infrastructure Project Management
• 5+ yrs exp. in Azure Cloud Engineering
• Cert. Azure Cloud Engineer / Architect

Additional Skills (Optional):

• Change Management on projects
• Enterprise Architecture
• IT Governance (ITIL / COBIT)

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 12 month full time contract
• Starting ASAP (until end July 2026)
• On a fully remote work basis (WFH)
• Any Travel & Accom (T&A) is included (at the client’s cost)
