ABAP Developer (CPT Contract)

A client in Cape Town is seeking a Snr ABAP Developer with FI exp. as follows

Responsibilities:

• To design, build and support Financial solutions on their SAP platform
• Troubleshoot issues and build new functionality using ABAP and Fiori
• Release using Solution Manager (SolMan) and related transport functionality

Skills Required:

• At least 7 to 8+ yrs exp. in ABAP Dev in FI/CO and related SAP module integrations
• Integration exp. using SAP OData / PI and SAP Web Services (BADI’s, BAPI’s, RFC’s, REST etc.) is required
• SAP SolMan / TMS exp. for releases is required

Additional Skills (Optional):

• SAP S/4 HANA exp. is a big advantage
• SAP BW exp. will be an advantage
• AWS exp. using Kafka and Redshift DB is useful
• SAP ABAP certs are a big plus

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 3 to 6 month contract on a full time basis
• A permanent offer will be made permanent for the right candidate
• Ideally based in CPT, on a hybrid work basis (2-3 days per week at their offices)
• Must be based in SA and born in SA with a valid SA ID (no foreigners)
