Azure Cloud Eng (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an Azure Cloud Eng. with Kafka exp. as follows

• To implement data streaming solutions using Kafka on Azure cloud servers
• Evaluate different business use cases and architect solutions in Azure using Kafka
• Present possible Data Streaming solutions using Kafka on Azure to the business
• Script Infrastructure-As-Code solutions using Terraform on Azure
• Model and implement Virtual Networks (VNets) using Azure Services
• Upskill on tech stacks that can integrate with Kafka Streaming (as needed)

Skills Required

• 3+ yrs exp. on Azure Cloud, incl. VNets and Kafka is required
• Some exp. using Terraform on Azure is also required
• Software dev skills in Java, C# and SQL will be useful
• A B.Sc. / B.Eng or Comp. Science or similar degree

This is a long term contract (12 to 18 months) starting ASAP on a hybrid work model (few days at their offices)
