Azure DevOps Eng (JHB contract)

A client based in Gauteng is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer as follows

• Work with the Dev team to implement and optimize back-end solutions in Azure
• Assist with code deployment and CI/CD automation pipelines to Test / Staging / Prod.
• Architect and deploy Azure server solutions, as a stable environment for Java Devs
• Troubleshoot any Database and Application server / network issues
• Ideally with some traditional Systems Eng. background (not required)

Skills Required

• 3 to 5 yrs exp. in Azure DevOps using Containerization
• Scripting in Azure, config using Puppet, Chef and Ansible
• Linux Redhat servers and OpenShift PaaS exp. required
• Solid exp. in Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Comp. Science degree and relevant certs are a bonus

This is a renewable contract (full time) on a hybrid work basis (4 days / week on-site in Rosebank)
