Back End Dev (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an Intermediate Back End Dev as follows

• To model and develop their back end solution on AWS, for integration with field devices
• Build RESTful API’s for data integration, do data mappings and assist with data integration
• Build data flows using MongoDB, Python and Java running on Linux servers hosted on AWS
• Good understanding of AWS (SNS, SQS, S3, ECS, Lambda, KMS, Secret Manager, CloudWatch, CDK, IAM)
• Some exp. with FE dev like TypeScript and NodeJS or similar is useful (not required)
• Do Unit Testing / Integration Testing / End to End Testing of delivered solution elements
• Agile and DevOps exp. using automation methods like CI/CD pipelines is essential
• Data Architecture exp. for modeling back end data flows is useful (not required)

This is a 24 month hybrid work contract at their offices based in Gauteng
