Functional Tester (Jhb, perm)

A client in Gauteng is seeking a Functional Tester (Back End) as follows

• To draft and execute Test Plans for maintaining SQL DB / application changes
• Test and document software defects resulting from SQL / application changes
• May also perform software reviews / walk-throughs from time to time
• Work with Software Developers / SQL DBA’s to fix software defects and retest
• Maintain data quality and integrity standards for the DB sources
• Requires intermediate level exp. (4-5+ yrs) in Functional Testing
• Card processing exp. is ideal (or Fin. Services exp. as a minimum)
• Skills in SQL DB and Postman API Platform are advantageous
• Related certification (ISTQB etc. ) is a benefit (not required)

This is a permanent role starting ASAP at their offices in Sandton, to transition to hybrid working (on / off site)
