Dev / Test Mng (JHB contract)

A client based in Gauteng is seeking an all-round Software Development / Test Manager as follows

• Manage an Oracle / Python Dev team
  • Oracle PL/SQL devs and Python devs using Postgres and AWS
  • Ensure Functional and Technical system docs are maintained
• Manage a BI reporting team
  • Building Informatica and QlikSense and SAP BO reports
  • ETL and Data Management skills also incl. in the team
• Manage Internal Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) cycles
  • Drafting of Test Cases for manual / automated testing
  • Creation of Test Scripts for automation in Selenium
  • Performance and Reliability and Regression Tests
• Manage DevOps team
  • Manage 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line Support teams
  • Release Management and User Training
  • Resolve issues with 3rd Party Products / Vendors
• Must have 10+ yrs exp. in Software Dev overall, incl. 3 yrs managing Dev teams
• Agile methods exp. using JIRA and Confluence is required
• ITIL and relevant Dev / Test / BI certs are an advantage

This is a hybrid work contract at their offices in Gauteng
