Mid Java Dev (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an Intermediate Java Developer as follows

• To design and build real-time asset management solutions on a Microservices architecture platform
• Use Java and Apache Kafka to build real-time data streaming solutions using queues and PubSub
• Azure Cloud exp. with messaging (like MQTT) and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is required
• CI/CD Pipeline automation exp. using Jenkins, Flyway, Nexus, Git or similar is a plus (not required)
• Must have 5+ yrs exp. in Full Stack Software Dev (mostly in Java on Azure)
• Agile / Scrum and DevOps exp. using JIRA and Confluence is required
• ITIL understanding and exp. is a plus (not required)
• Relevant Software degree / certs are a plus (not required)

This is a hybrid work contract with a few days at their offices in Gauteng per week
