ERP Soln Arch (CPT Contract)

A client in Cape Town is seeking a Snr ERP Solution Architect as follows

Responsibilities:

• Advisory role to guide their JDE to SAP and Cloud migration
• Discover their current JDE EnterpriseOne environment (running on IBM AS/400)
• Assess options to migrate JDE to SAP (or other ERP’s) with costs, risks, skills etc.
• Assess options to migrate to Public Cloud (AWS, GCP) or co-locate (Terraco)
• Consider TCO, migration risk/complexity, skills availability, time to value, etc.
• Consider regulatory and Disaster Recovery impact of options to be presented
• Recommendations to be made to C-suite (CIO, CEO, CFO)
• Knowledge transfer of JDE understanding for future ERP options

Skills Required:

• At least 10+ yrs architecting ERP Solutions (incl. JDE EnterpriseOne, SAP)
• Infrastructure architecture incl. IBM AS/400 Infrastructure
• Cloud architecture and cloud migration projects
• Exp with software acquisition RFP’s
• Insurance systems (policy admin, claims, billing)
• TCO modelling of software and infrastructure decisions
• Public Cloud (AWS/GCP) certifications

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 12 month contract (full time 160 hrs pm)
• With a hybrid work policy (at their offices in Cape Town CBD few days / week)
• This contract will be renewed at least twice on successful completion
