SAP FICO Functional (CPT Contract)

A client in Cape Town is seeking a Snr SAP FICO Functional Consultant as follows:

Responsibilities:

• To analyze their Financial process requirements and implement SAP S/4 HANA accordingly
• Conduct workshops with process owners to document their requirements
• Do Gap analysis to identify gaps between standard SAP functionality and business requirements
• Design and configure SAP S/4 HANA for the gaps, incl. custom dev to be built in ABAP
• Own QA for the deliverables, incl. Unit, Integration and UAT Test Cases (with Test Data)
• Draft Training Materials and ensure Change Management is done, as well as Cut-Over and BCP

Skills Required:

• 7-8+ yrs exp. in SAP FICO implementations & support (across several full cycle SAP projects)
• Preferably from an Accounting background, with a B. Com Finance degree (not required)
• Any SAP BCP reports exp. will be a big benefit (not required)
• Must be from a Consulting background (rather than a Permanent employee)
• SAP certs are a bonus, esp. S4 HANA certs (not required)

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 3 to 6 month contract (starting in Aug / Sept.)
• A permanent offer may be made post contract (if you’re a good fit)
• On a hybrid work basis (2-3 days / week in the office in CPT)
• Travel and Accom (T&A) to CPT is excluded (at your own cost)
• Must be based in SA and born in SA (no foreigners on an SA Work Visa)
