Infra Project Mng (Dbn contract)

A client in Durban is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager as follows

Responsibilities:

• To manage their network / infrastructure (SD WAN) and cloud (Azure) migration projects
• Manage project resources (both in-house and vendor) as well as budgets, risks, timelines etc.
• Define the Scope of Work for the vendor and manage / QA their delivery of the infrastructure
• Ideally from a Systems / Network Engineer background, with a hands-on understanding of the work

Skills Required:

• 10 yrs exp. as a Systems / Network Eng. on Network / Infrastructure rollout and cloud migration projects
• 10 yrs exp. as a Project Manager on Network / Infrastructure rollout and cloud migration projects
• Change Management exp. will be useful (not required)
• Vendor Management exp. is required
• Project Manager certs are ideal, as well as Cisco / Network Eng. certs

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 12 month full time work contract
• Work is done on a hybrid work model (one week on-site in Dbn, one week remote work)
• Travel and Accommodation (T&A) is included in the contract
