Service Mng Cons (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking a Snr IT Service Management Consultant as follows:

• To analyse, design and config their IT Ops Service Model (Config Management) on ServiceNow / BMC Remedy
• ITSM Ops modelling for their Servers, Networks, OS’s, Databases, Storage, Middleware, Web / Cloud platforms
• Help to draft governance policies and SOP’s for managing their IT Operations Management lifecycle
• Provide training on ITSM Ops Models, as an SME in the field
• Gather feedback from IT Service desk users on improvements required

Skills required:

• At least 8 yrs exp. in IT Service Management (ITSM)
• Exp. in implementing ServiceNow / BMC Remedy (or a similar IT Config Management Database)
• Full understanding of ITIL, DevOps, Release Management, Project Management (Agile / Waterfall) principles
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end Infrastructure and Application technology architecture for various clients
• Ideally from an IT Support Consultant background, working at different clients
• A Comp. Science or similar degree and ServiceNow / BMC Remedy certs are a bonus

This is a long term contract (12- 18 months) on a hybrid work method (few days / week at their offices in Gauteng)
