A client in Gauteng is seeking a Senior Java Developer as follows

To design and build software solutions on a Microservices architecture platform
Use Java (with EJB) and SQL DB’s (Oracle / Postgres) and RESTful API’s to build solutions(required)
Containerization and CI/CD Pipeline automation (Jenkins, Git) is useful (not required)
AWS Cloud exp. using ECS and Lambda will be useful (either AWS or Azure is required)
JavaScript exp. with Angular / Node.js and Java App Server exp. also useful (not required)
Must have 7-8+ yrs exp. in Full Stack Software Dev, mainly in Java
Agile (Scrum) and DevOps exp. using JIRA and Confluence is required
Relevant Software degree / certs are a plus (not required)

This is a hybrid work contract, with 1-2 days on-site in Gauteng per week, gradually becoming more remote
