M365 Sys Eng. (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking an M365 Systems Engineer with Azure exp. as follows

• To manage their Windows, Microsoft 365 and Azure deployments for software projects
• Implement M365 and Azure endpoint solutions using Entra (AD), SCCM and InTune
• Design and rollout their Endpoint computing requirements, using Agile principles (on JIRA / Confluence)
• Lead the architecting and deployment of an Endpoint Management Cloud Services strategy for their company
• Implement procedures to support their Endpoint Management strategy, incl. coaching Azure and M365 admins
• Collaborate with other Azure infrastructure teams on projects, incl. Network, Server, Client, Security, AD etc.

Skills Required

• At least 5+ yrs exp. in managing Windows, Azure and M365 deployments for end users is required
• Excellent understanding of Entra (AD) and SCCM and InTune is required, as well as M365 and Windows
• Exp. with managing M365 Power Apps like Power BI and Flows and using PowerShell is useful (not required)
• Ideally in large scale global Microsoft environments with 100k+ users (not required)
• ITIL and relevant SCCM / MS / Azure Admin certs are required
• A B.Sc. or B.Com or similar Comp. Science degree / diploma is also required

This is a 12 to 18 month contract for hybrid work at their offices in Gauteng
