Snr C# Dev (JHB Contract)

A client in JHB is seeking a Senior C# / .Net Developer as follows:

Responsibilities:

• To build and test / deploy their FinTech solution (Full Stack)
• Work with Data Pipelines and Data Warehouses / Lakes
• Functional Requirements and UX/UI Design will be provided
• Data Pipelines will be provided by Data Engineers
• Mentor Jnr Devs with their tasks, do Code Reviews
• Work in 2 weekly Sprints with daily Stand-Ups etc.

Minimum Required Skills:

• At least 6-7 yrs exp. in C# / .Net / SQL Dev is required
• Full Stack dev with SQL and API Dev exp.
• Test Driven Design (TDD) principles exp.
• Azure exp. with CI/CD using Azure DevOps
• Azure fundamentals cert. (AZ900 / AZ204)
• GitHub exp. for Source Code management
• Proper Agile methods exp. using SCRUM
• Azure DevOps for managing project tasks
• Consulting exp. as a Dev (not just permanent)

Additional (Optional) Skills:

• SOLID coding principles exp.
• Data Pipeline exp. with ADF / Synapse
• Infra-As-Code exp. (Bicep / Terraform)
• FinTech / Banking industry exp. is ideal
• Consulting Dev exp. is a big benefit
• A B.Sc. Comp. Science or similar degree / diploma is preferable

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 6 month contract (full time 160 hrs pm)
• With a hybrid work policy (at their offices in Sandton 3-4 days / week)
• Starting ASAP (earlier is better than waiting a month)
• This contract may be renewed on successful completion
