Snr Project Mng (Remote Contract)

A client based in Gauteng is seeking a Senior Business Transformation Project Manager  as follows:

Responsibilities:

• To implement strategic business transformation projects over a 3 year period
• These are Org. Development type business projects, not really IT projects
• Implement large scale organizational changes across BU’s in Fin Services
• Finalize the Scope of Work (SOW) via Blueprints and manage Vendor Delivery
• Establish Governance guidelines and requirements for different project types
• Ensure that Benefits Realization is defined and tracked / measured for each project

Skills Required:

• At least 4-5 yrs exp. in Business Transformation Projects is required
• Ideally with Business Blueprint exp. and Org. Development exp. (i.e. for M&A)
• Also at least 2-3 yrs exp. in Financial Services / FinTech
• Mostly using Waterfall Project Planning (ideally with PMP cert.)
• Must have strong Vendor Management exp.
• And also Stakeholder Management exp. at C-suite level
• Some Project Governance exp. is ideal (not required)
• Change Management exp. is also ideal (not required)

Work Arrangement:

• This is an 12 month full time work contract that’s renewable twice
• Starting within 1-2 months (does not require immediate availability)
• Working on a 2-3 day hybrid work model (at their offices in Randburg)
• Applicants must be based in Gauteng (with own travel to Randburg)
• Foreigners must have a valid Work Permit until Dec 2028
