UX Designer (remote contract)

A client in Cape Town is seeking an Intermediate UX Designer as follows

Responsibilities:

• To conceptualize and design User Interfaces for Digital solutions (Web)
• Conduct evaluative research and user testing, applying it to the creative process
• Design User Journeys and Mockups / Wireframes / Prototypes using Figma / InVision
• Guide and QA the UI elements, as delivered by the Web Devs

Skills Required:

• 4-5 yrs solid UX / UI Design exp. is required in Digital channels (i.e. not Marketing / Branding)
• 2-3 yrs hands-on exp. in either Figma / InVision / Adobe or a similar Design solution
• Some Front End Web Dev exp. is ideal in HTML / CSS and JavaScript
• Some Consulting exp. with Design Agencies is ideal (rather than In-house)
• With an understanding of Agile software project methodologies (like SCRUM)
• A Creative degree or related diplomas / certifications are a big benefit

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 6-12 month full time work contract starting ASAP
• On a fully remote work basis (anywhere in SA)
• Their offices are in Cape Town (not required to go in)
