Java Dev (JHB contract)

A client in Gauteng is seeking a Senior Java Developer as follows

• To integrate solutions from a legacy system into their Odoo Open Source ERP platform
• Use Java Enterprise, Node.js and PostgreSQL DB to build new functionality
• API / XML exp. will also be useful to connect the different layers, plus Apache Spark exp.

Required Skills:

• At least 6-7 yrs exp. as a Full Stack Dev using Java is required as a minimum
• Node.js or similar JavaScript exp. and PostgreSQL will also be useful (not required)
• Exp. with ERP or CRM solutions (especially Odoo) will be very useful (not required)
• Agile (Scrum) and DevOps exp. using JIRA and Confluence very useful (not required)
• A relevant software degree or certs are a plus (not required)

This is a 6 month (renewable) on-site work contract at their offices in Parktown
