SAP FI Consultant (DBN contract)

A client in Durban is seeking a Snr SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant as follows:

Responsibilities:

• To analyze their Financial process requirements and implement SAP S/4 HANA accordingly
• Conduct workshops with Finance Process Owners to understand their requirements and demo SAP
• Do Gap Analysis to identify gaps between standard SAP functionality and business requirements
• Design and configure SAP S/4 HANA for the gaps, incl. custom dev to be built in ABAP and Reporting
• Own QA for the deliverables, incl. Unit, Integration and UAT Test Cases etc.
• Draft Training Materials and ensure Change Management is done

Skills Required:

• Must have 8+ yrs exp. in SAP FI implementations and support, across several full cycle SAP projects
• Exp. in FICO, CO-PA, Prod Costing, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning modules is required
• Exp. in FI Integration with PY, SD, MM, SuccessFactors is required (at least some of these integrations)
• Must be a SAP Consultant with exp. in several end-to-end projects (not in-house perm staff)
• Project Management and Change Management exp. will be useful (not required)
• Exp. in SAP Projects in the Manufacturing sector is a benefit (not required)
• Preferably from an Accounting background, with a B.Com. Finance degree (not required)
• SAP certs are a bonus (not required)

Work Arrangement:

• This is a 12 month full time work contract
• With hybrid work methods, on/off at their offices in Durban, KZN
• Travel and accom costs to commute to Durban is included (from within SA)
• Work cycles are one week on-site / one week off-site (if not doing Go Live)
